Where to begin…

The last month and a half has been so busy.   Between Thanksgiving and getting everything ready for Owen’s first Christmas, things have been pretty hectic.  So I just wanted to take a quick minute and write about a few things that happened over the past month.  First we had Thanksgiving with my mom dad and grandma.  I’m very grateful that we were able to spend one last Thanksgiving at Chuck-a-rama with my Grandma.  My grandma was a very special person in my life.  She shared so many wonderful things with me as I was growing up.  One thing I will always remember about my grandma is her love for heavenly father’s plan.  She lived for serving her children and those that surrounded her.
She also had a deep love for children.  Her last hours with us on this earth she asked to see my son.   I brought him to see her and laid him down beside her.  She gave him a big hug and kiss, at that moment I could feel her love so strongly.  She even asked about Michael’s test that he had taken a few days before.  Even though she wasn’t feeling well she somehow was still thinking about everyone else.  I will always remember my grandma as a selfless and loving woman.

Owen wants to walk!!!!!!
It really is rude that he wants to grow up so fast.  But he is at such a fun age. He gabbers a lot more than he used to and just a few days ago he started pulling himself up next to the coffee table and now he can’t get enough of it.  He thinks he’s the coolest thing ever.  And who am I to argue with that; I think he is too.
He also realized that he can crawl where ever he wants.  This is such a pain because now he is into everything.  He really cannot be trusted anymore!  He pulls everything off the shelves in our room and then just starts laughing.  It’s almost as if he’s mocking me.  Like hey mom… I know you just cleaned the room but you better come clean it again! I really am enjoying watching him learn all these fun new things.
And I haven’t been this excited for Christmas since I was a little kid.  I know he won’t remember any of it, but I’m positive Santa will be coming to see our little Owen!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!J
